- Most people who are selling products to teach you how to make money online are selling you hope.
And most people are so desperate to find that magic button that they stand in line and buy product after product hoping to cash in. These marketers know that a certain percentage of their customers never take any action that the course tells them to, and they will have no results. In a month or two they will pull out that credit card, and try a new course. They are addicted to buying the next "Shiny Object", and the marketers are serving them just what they crave.
The "Make Money Online" Niche relies heavily on your NOT doing your due diligence. People will tell you one day that blogging is dead and the next day that you are missing out on a fortune by not blogging. The market is set up to accomplish one thing, sell you products. Your function is funding. They believe that you are so desperate to make money online that you take leave of your common sense and chase a dream for years throwing money at it constantly even when you get zero return. They know that you want that magic button to push that floods your account with money, and as long as they promise you that it is right around the corner, you will never quit buying their products. For 98% of the people who try Internet marketing, they are right. That is right, 98% of the people who try Internet Marketing will fail, mostly because they will not get out and take action or they are so flooded with conflicting information that they do not know how to start.
- There is no magic software:
You can"t buy something, set it up with a few mouse clicks, and make money. It can't be done, and anybody who tells you differently is lying to you. If it could be done, it would sell for millions of dollars. Use your common sense...if I developed a software that would make me money with just a few clicks, would I tell anyone? Would you? Would you spend $10,000 to launch a campaign to sell the process when you could sit on your butt and click the mouse and watch the money roll in? If you did sell it how much would you ask for it? I promise you that no $35, $75, $750, or even $7500 product can do this. I would own it if it existed.
- You are going to have to learn some technical things if you are going to make money online.
If you don't learn how to the technical things, you are going to have to pay someone else to do them.
- You are going to have to spend some money.
You need tools and education. You can take the time to carefully research Internet Marketing and educate yourself (allow 2 years, if you do it part time) or you can pay for the knowledge. The more time you have the more money you can save by doing things yourself. The more money you have the more things you can get accomplished, because you can pay someone to do part of the work. The trick is to buy good information that you can take action on when you spend your money. At the very least you will need a hosting account and a domain name. You can not run an online businesses with a free hosting account, and you MUST get your own domain name for credibility's sake.
- You are going to have to quit playing online and start working online.
Dreaming about making a fortune online and a better life wandering around the internet reading about it is like rocking in a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but does not get you anywhere. There are things you are going to have to do. Every day. They must be done correctly, often many times, over and over, in order to succeed. Internet Marketing affords you the luxury to determine your own level of success. Self determination is impossible without self control. You, or someone, will have to do the grunt work. If you do not take action, you will not succeed.
- You must find a way around the obstacles you encounter
As you travel this route you have chosen you will often come to places where you do not how to proceed. This must not stop your forward momentum. Spend a little time trying to solve the issue, then delegate it to the "Later" file and go on to some other task. Visit the "Later" file often and pick at the obstacles, but try to stay productive.
